Internet Browser for Wii

News about a web browser for the Wii has surfaced recently, and it seems that Nintendo is teaming up with Opera to create the browser. The Opera browser was selected because of its simplicity and because it is relatively easy to use. There won't be much of a change from surfing the web on your PC, to using the browser on WIii. Instead of using a keyboard, the browser will take advantage of the Wii remote. Nintendo hasn't commented on how the browser will utilize the controller or what features will be available as far as media playback goes, but it will most likely be revealed soon. The Opera browser is the same browser that is used on the Nintendo DS lite.
